Researching driver problems
We analysed situations in which drivers need a repair shop, tow truck, or urgent roadside assistance. We studied the provider search journey and the main causes of delays.

A unified platform for finding auto repair services, requesting a tow truck, and getting urgent roadside assistance.

When a vehicle breaks down, the driver has to search separately for the nearest repair shop, tow truck, or mobile technician, call multiple providers, and check their availability. This wastes critical time in a stressful situation, while the selected provider may be too far away, unavailable, or unable to deliver the required service. At the same time, repair shops and roadside assistance providers lack a unified channel for receiving and promptly processing such requests.

We analysed situations in which drivers need a repair shop, tow truck, or urgent roadside assistance. We studied the provider search journey and the main causes of delays.

We designed a unified interaction flow for drivers, repair shops, tow trucks, and mobile technicians. We defined the roles, request statuses, and provider selection rules.

We designed a simple journey from describing the problem and detecting the location to confirming the request and tracking assistance. Separate interfaces were planned for customers and providers.

We designed the platform architecture with geolocation, automatic request distribution, routing, and notifications. We also created prototypes for the customer interface and provider dashboard.

We prepared the launch plan for the first version of the service in Kyiv and defined the field-testing scenarios. Once the core processes are validated, the platform can expand to other cities.

Request submissionThe driver selects the type of problem, adds a short description, and submits a roadside assistance request.
Automatic geolocationThe system detects the vehicle’s location and uses it to find the nearest available providers.
Intelligent provider matchingThe platform considers the issue type, distance, availability, and provider capabilities before automatically assigning the request to a suitable partner.
Tow truck requestThe driver can request a tow truck to the breakdown location and specify where the vehicle should be delivered.
On-site assistanceThe system dispatches a mobile technician for jump-starting, tyre replacement, fuel delivery, or minor roadside repairs.
Repair shop routingIf the issue cannot be resolved on-site, the platform selects a suitable repair shop and coordinates vehicle transportation.
Provider dashboardRepair shops, tow truck operators, and mobile technicians can receive requests, update their statuses, and manage availability through a dedicated dashboard.
RUXOdrive is designed as a modular web platform with separate interfaces for drivers, service providers, and administrators. All client applications communicate through a secure API that manages requests, geolocation, automatic provider matching, statuses, and notifications. This architecture supports the initial Kyiv MVP and further expansion to other cities.

RUXOdrive is a digital platform that connects drivers, service stations, and roadside assistance providers in one place. This video shows how the system helps users quickly find a nearby specialist, share their location, submit a request, and track its progress. Drivers can request towing, mobile mechanic assistance, tire service, fuel delivery, or schedule vehicle maintenance. RUXOdrive is designed for individual drivers, vehicle fleets, delivery companies, service stations, towing operators, and independent automotive specialists. For service providers, the platform offers an additional customer acquisition channel and a convenient way to manage incoming requests.
